I THINK MOST OF YOU HERE HAVE NOT SEEN EVERYTHING ABOUT CHAO...

CHACLON ID:018817 2008/05/22 18:18:22
I think Gigazubyte said he only had the Gamecube SA2:B, and I think most of you here do not have a DC. I bought the European Dreamcast SA2 before I had SA2:B; In SA2 I saw that Chao were just cute little things which were unbelievably monotonous when it came to raising their stats.

I got SA2:B for Gamecube, hoping it would be different from SA2. To my surprise, in the Gamecube there was the already built-in Black Market and new seeds / fruit which I had not seen before, and the rare jewel colored Chao! Chao raising was now more exciting than before

PRESENT
Now I've bought the VMU for Dreamcast and I got my dial up connection. Unfortunately, SA2's homepage on the DC is down, but I managed to get to another site which had this tool for Chao: The Chao editor.

The Chao editor, the VMU minigames and the much better fruit in SA2 i.e. Smart fruit (Intelligence), Peace fruit (increases AFFECTION and HAPPINESS). All this made me believe that SA2's Chao world is MUCH BETTER THAN THE GAMECUBE SA2:B! OMG! PEOPLE YOU SHOULD BUY A DC!!
ALL OF YOU THAT ARE BORED WITH YOUR GCN!

I have seen nearly everything on Chao; if only the SA2 and Sonic Adventure Homepage had not shut down (in europe)

Is there anyone out there that has Dreamkey 3? And does not know

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/05/16 20:47:12
how to connect the DC to internet?
The method is called dial up.
Firstly, input Dreamkey into DC. When it loads go to setup / registration. (I'll write further instructions when I get a request)
Then you need the telephone cable that goes into DC and telephone line, after you've done the rest. Then keep the Dreamkey disc inside click 'go online'
You now have a free ISP!

So that's where it's based. I should have figured. @.o

That's nice, but nobody cares anymore...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/05/28 03:41:28
Getting a dreamcast to play a very slightly altered version of a game we already own isn't worth the expense.

You tell 'em, Magikarp. C:

Magikarp is a fiction, a Fantasy?, a ''not real'' Pokemon. I doubt it heard you

CHACLON ID:018817 2008/06/03 19:11:21
P.S. Do you know what I've done?
Well you Super Smash bros Melee? I just bought the individual N64 games of some of the Characters in the game.
e.g. Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards, Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina Of Time..
Now I've got
Zelda, Link, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Kirby, DK on my N64

She was calling ME magikarp, Dr. Dense...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/06/03 21:39:26
not talking to a pokemon that has nothing to do with this conversation. In any event, Magikarp is no more or less fictional than the Sonic characters, including Chaoclon, so you've got no room to talk.

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/17 03:58:15
Heh, that reminds me. How would trainers actually teach their pokemon to use Psychic, anyway? That's kind of strange. And I'm too lazy to teleport or fly back.

Re: Magikarp is a fiction, a Fantasy?, a ''not real'' Pokemon. I doubt it heard you

Galatea ID:015115 2008/06/22 08:14:17
The same way they teach them moves like Thunderbolt and Flamethrower. c:

CHAO GARDEN: Layouts in the DC have changed, Hero Garden is less wider than the GC it has a bridge and the Dark garden has a spiral mountain and a cave.
CHAO ACTIONS: e.g. Baby chao do not sit down before they crawl like in the GC and they can learn to walk themselves if you leave them.
CHAO FACES? (You can get some of these on the GC with Action replay Gameboy, but a lot are missing.) The DC has wide smile Chao and a wavy weird smile.
FRUITS AND SEEDS: These will be COMPLETELY NEW TO YOU
THE VMU: Lame quality games (reminds me of the game&watch)
COLORS: You will get to see the better quality Jewel Chao,
Plus those bright colors in the gamecube are here.
MUSIC: The music in the Chao stadium matches the music of the GC Chao transporter.
NOW TELL ME TRUTHFULLY. IT IS NOT YOUR CHOICE THAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY IT, IT'S JUST YOUR MONEY ISN'T IT? IF YOU WANT ONE FOR A ABOUT $20... eBay.Com

You weren't "forcing" me to begin with. You've never had the power to dictate my actions...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/06/03 21:51:46
So you can take your "magnanimous" offer and stick it where the sun don't shine, because I don't give a crap whether you attempt to force me or not, you're not going to be able to anything about it. I already know all that stuff, and I don't think it's worth the cost.

Umm.. Scott? (Gigaz) Have you tried the master quest version of Ocarina Of Time?

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/16 17:12:56
It's obvious that you've played OOT, because you argued with me about Saria.. but what about master quest?
Me? yeah I completed it.
With OOT fresh in my mind it helped me know the basics of the dungeons. Dodongo's Cavern is now way hard and Water and Spirit temples are nightmares- I figured 'em out eventually.

Yes, I beat it. Water Temple was pathetically easy...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/06/17 00:22:23
Dodongos cavern was a bit tricky, and I got stuck in Jabbu Jabbu's belly until I realized I had to shoot the cows, but once I figured that out the rest was a breeze. The only other place I got stuck for any length of time was one puzzle in the Spirit Temple involving the time blocks.

The gold skulltulas have changed their locations and the Heart piece in the ice cave is

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/24 20:40:18
located on top of a raised ledge in a pile of cloudy white blocks. The crystal switches can be mistaken for ice shards and in other dungeons they hide them so that only the tip of it sticks out of the wall...
I got all Heart pieces and 100 Spiders.
What about you. Is master quest a recent game for you?? How many Skultulas did you find? What's the largest fish you've caught? mine: 20 pounds.

P.S. I got stuck with that same puzzle in Spirit temple;
playing the 'Song Of Time' 3 times at the correct block was the solution

Well you can take that offer and shove it right up your nose! My money is for manga and anime, so I don't particularly feel like buying a DC for just one game.

DC for two games: Sonic Adventure One and two

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/16 17:04:58
Fine. That's the last time I decided I WILL ATTEMPT TO PERSUADE.

Groovy.

You serious?! They still haven't thrown you into a big hole yet?!

Omochao keeps respawning everytime we try to do so :(

Re: You serious?! They still haven't thrown you into a big hole yet?!

Firestorm ID:014893 2008/06/16 13:38:07
Ah. At the very least you could throw him at your enemies.. It shut him up temporarily atleast.. Or just slap him..

*falls into the hole* ''Hey look I found the way out!'' ...*runs into a wall*

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/17 03:55:47
Omochao can fly through walls. It's kinda funny, because he's supposed to be metal. I know he's just not made to be obstructed by them like the playable characters, but still.

Re: *falls into the hole* ''Hey look I found the way out!'' ...*runs into a wall*

Well, they're fun to mess with.

Re: You serious?! They still haven't thrown you into a big hole yet?!

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/17 04:01:49
Well, I could do the train-track-trick... It's awesome. If you throw him on a certain set of train tracks on Ghost Train Mountain right after hitting a switch, he'll get ran-overed a couple of times. He gets ran overed again before he even gets a chance to recover, and the process repeats a couple of times.

Put Omochao under the big weights in death chamber. he keeps getting crush..

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/17 18:55:56
..ed

Omochao: ''Wh-What? What happened? W-Who am I, Where am I??''

Re: Put Omochao under the big weights in death chamber. he keeps getting crush..

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/21 17:10:50
Oh yeah, I forgot about those weights. It's a little harder to have him in a position where he will get hurt many times in a row without him having a chance to recover, though, but yeah. Although it was normally Mad Space where I did that. I'm usually too occupied in Death Chamber to even notice Omochao's existence for various reasons, even if I am just playing the stage to hang around in it. Except this one time when I was trying to reach every stage's goal while holding him to see what he would say. He has a unique line for each particular stage, or at least it seems so, because there are still a few stages where I haven't been able to reach the goal while holding him.

Omochao says: ''This fog reminds me of San Francisco'' in White Jungle

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/24 20:45:57
If you use Moon jump (Action Replay) You can carefully fly to the end with him. I did it on Final Chase. Strangely he says,
''Thanks, I'll find my own way home'' or something like that. He said something about his propellers on one of the stages,... I forgot.

Re: Omochao says: ''This fog reminds me of San Francisco'' in White Jungle

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/25 02:48:44
Yeah, I know. I've gotten to the end of White Jungle with him before, also. I'm not sure about the other, though I remember getting to the end with him in Crazy Gadget, and I THINK Final Rush, but I might just be getting confused with the former, because they both end while in outer space.

Omochao in Crazy Gadget: Hmm, this looks like a game I've seen before

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/25 18:30:46
Ha. What game is he talking about?

Re: Omochao in Crazy Gadget: Hmm, this looks like a game I've seen before

The Cat ID:011103 2008/06/26 07:09:22
I wish I knew. I haven't played enough games to really know :(

Though I find his line rather strange, considering he only existed in SA2B. Unless he's talking about the whole switching gravity pull direction part... but the only thing I can think of at the moment that remotely resembles it is Tetris.

Also because of the blocks. The 'floors' in that area in Crazy Gadget are multi-colored and have different shapes of some rectangular prisms or whatever.

Oh! Have you not heard that line? Omochao is near the end of that stage.

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/06/27 21:23:04
Anyway. The game he was talking about I thought was something about Sonic playing games with Omochao..
You know cuddling him, throwing him into enemies.
He feels that you are playing 'games' on him. Could it be that?

Re: Oh! Have you not heard that line? Omochao is near the end of that stage.

a cat ID:011103 2008/06/28 21:02:25
Yeah, I've heard it... I wish I could remember others. I know the City Escape one of course, where he says, "That big truck scared me!".

And, I don't know. It would just be rather strange if Omochao were to say that it reminded him of something currently happening. I really think it has to do with the whole switch-gravity puzzle, but meh... I probably could just look it up, I guess.
