Is it just me or do peole in SSBB online suck?

(darn i lost my log in so im using one a friend of mine used....)

Anyway... Ok I have played a lot of matches with friends, and they have given me challenge BUT when I go to the random battles THEY ALL SUCK!

I did a few team battles with different people.... My partner every single time either killed him self, or didn't know how to use the (in GCN controls) B up attack to get back up on the stage. Then on top of that I won all of the battles for our team with only having anywhere from 0%-10% damage!

Whats wrong with these people? Also I've seen like 50 games online which had people that sucked! It's almost as if all the people who got the game are the people who never played before.... (I mean sure there are SOME good people out there like me and my friends, and I'm sure a few of you here as well but.... a lot of the people online suck).

Meh, you're lucky you don't disconnect from most of your online matches as they start.

I've noticed that quite a few are newbs, but most are on par with me. I hope that doesn't mean I suck... x__x

Anyway, who do you usually play as, and as what color? I might have bumped into you.

I've only played Team Battles so far, and I've seen a lot of excellent players. Also, I seem to play against a lot of people who are in the right place at the right time. Ah well, makes things more interesting. After all, luck is also part of the game.
Though I have died quite stupidly a few times, most of it was because of the lag. It's hard to get used to.

but it is true that even on the lowest levels they make good use of the up b, which is something most novice players seem to find very difficult. I remember starting as kirby because he was so much easier to recover with.

A lot of the time the lag really messes me up when I'm trying to recover. So I end up using my up B move too quickly and dying... T_T And then for some reason afterwards, I end up kicking twice the usual amount of ass and it compensates for my SDs usually...
I know there will always be lag with online play (until more powerful wireless communications are developed, anyways), but it's still difficult to get used to. x_x

I've had lag training in a different game, so it's not that bad... But the really hard part is using Zelda's Up+B to recover. The direction you warp in is determined right before you warp. Take Final Destination, for instance. You have to warp diagonally to get close enough. If you use Up+B during lag, half the time you warp straight up, and can't get close enough to the edge. Other times, you warp straight sideways into the bottom of the edge of the stage. x.x
