You have to reincarnate it twice, first. Reincarnation happens after roughly 24 hours in the garden. The chao will go into a pink coccoon and turn back into a baby. All of its skills will go back to Level 1. So you can leave your system on over night and you'll know if it's happened. After this has happened the second time, you have to give it ONE of each type of animal. It's a good idea to make a list of the animals first and check them off as you give them to the chao. You can't give your chao any Chaos Drives. Regular fruits are fine, but don't give them any Skill Fruits. When they evolve (in the regular blue coccoon), they will come out as the Chaos Chao. There are also the Dark Chaos Chao and Hero Chaos Chao, which look awesome, as well.
