A little about me:

I was born March 10th, 1981 in Alabaster, Alabama.
I still live with my parents.
I work at an EB Games.

I randomly stumbled across this forum after being previously banned from my last home. I'm hoping the folks here will be a little less "elitist".

Also, it is worth mentioning that I adore Sonic games, but I think Sonic Team has been losing there touch lately. Anyone else wish to comment on that? I'm open to all opinions.

hi David! *extends arm at the way!*

Tails ID:018537 2008/02/21 02:58:16
my name is Tails! i think youll find this place a great home! here we talk about chao and sonic and tails and all the characters!

and well, sometimes there are some people that can be rude, i think that you will still enjoy it here.

also, sonic team? they make teh sonic games right? i think they're doing jsut fine.

Now that you've met Tails,

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 03:43:38
our friendly neigborhood pervert. Time to meet the Troll.
You're older than me by a year. I hope to god you've got some patience. The eldest person i've met here besides myself was Gigazubyte, at a whopping 19 yrs old. All the girls are under age scept like, DCD, who doesn't really see a reason to pick a gender. She's like.. what was it? pomosexual. I identify her as a she, but she's quite often a man.
Then there's Falco, whom you will meet some time in the future. Intelligent, though sometimes a little off the wall. Blames himself for the downfall of society as we know it.

Depurified-aka Firestorm. A big bad surly nihalist who tends to make Sonic Loves Amy "SLA" more attracted to him with each brush-off. Chaclon, the village cheat code guru, even though we all know almost everything he posts already.
He's not good for much else.

Dark Assassin who's not really here anymore all too much, but you know i still luvs yew mikey. . . -scoff-

Lesee.. who else have i missed. . . Black Lady, who really hates all of us, simmilar to myself, but she doesn't care enough to make her hatred appearant at every turn.

Now Giga Z (Gigazubyte, GigaZ, Giga)is the resident know it all. And he usually does know. About Chao and other things as well. I was surprised to learn he was 6 years younger than I. And I can actually have a decent debate on an intelectual level with him. Want to talk pokemon, talk to Dark Assassin, Falco, and the depurified. they're like pokemon people. If not all of them than at least one is. i'm not sure which.

Super Shadow is the former Village Idiot, as now that is either tails or chaclons title. i'm also not sure which. i'm not a regular here anymore. I think that's all the users i've encountered here. OH and Kirby, my old chum. He's the oracle of anime stuff methinks. Between he and Depurified i think you'll find anything anime related you need, unless it's hentai. then you'd have to get on the good side of good old professor nohmz, who hates you all.

Wow, sounds like quite a crowd.

Re: Now that you've met Tails,

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:15:46
I forgot to introduce my faults. What a silly thing to do.
My grammar is atrocious, my spelling is among the worst, my hatred is absolute, and my sense of humor generally comes at the expense of others (Even my friends are not immune. I still mock GigaZ and he's among my closest friends).

When i use a word, i can generally define it, wether i can spell it or not. My lexicon is quite vast in that respect. I could use a proofreader, but i really don't give a damn.

Also an elaboration. Many of the names i mentioned know almost everything there is to know about SA2B, Chao breeding, and whatever else sonic related. I however, am only interested in the breeding of Chao. I don't deal in the numbers, i don't calculate stats, but i've got 6 chaos chao, all of which are maxed out after 3-4 revivals prior to chaos incarnation.
Also all of which were bred from normal type chao,(the initial two eggs you get from the start of the game) all the way to all S stats. But i don't play anymore. Also, I have migrated to another BB due to this one being so incredibly mind-numbing.

Re: Now that you've met Tails,

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:19:33
The chao minigame in SA2B was enjoyable, I will admit. However, I could do without it. I want Sonic Team to create a new Sonic game. One that can go head to head (quality wise) with the originals.

Also, another BB you say?

Re: Now that you've met Tails,

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:21:36
It's not a sonic BB. it's devoted to many other things. But it's hush hush. sekret society shit. Ask Gigazubyte DCD (Dark Celestial Dragon) or Black lady for more info. I just post there. i don't run it. Black Lady does.

Re: Now that you've met Tails,

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:25:32
Oh, alright. I guess I can just ask them then.

Hi Tails! Can you spin your Tails for me, It's cool I wanna watch!

Chaclon ID:018817 2008/02/21 19:17:06
Tails: *spins his tails*

Firstly, Giga's only here like three times a week

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/22 00:14:03
The rest of the time he's uhh in college? where you may wish to contemplate going some day. If they'll have you.
Secondly, even outside of that, he's got more important things that he takes care of besides ridiculing you and tails. Expressedly, we're working on a Sonic Roleplay that you probably won't be a part of, let alone know where it's taking place. And we're so far into it now, that it's inevitable. it's only a question of when now. He and a friend have written an archive of the history of the sonic world, made impliments, and are also working on several other aspects of it. I, obviously, am going to be one of the major supervillains (or two, or maybe even more) and you, would probably be that straight E stat chao that no one wants to train or give any fruit to. So how do you like me now?

I may have a life, but I also have a duty...

besides, I'm spoken for already, and Nohmz isn't my type.

Black Lady is more his type.

At least I should hope so since I am from the future, as GigaZ and Black Lady's misbegotten lovechild.

I'm through playing with you, pathetic waste of genetic material. You are nothing more than a bucktoothed Rhinoseri nosed, Elephant eared wanker. Limey faggot. I'm through with this game, and i think it's appearant that every insult you hurl is nothing more than a pathetic attempt at gaining notoriety, which is failing because you're such an emotionally underdeveloped, insipid, mundane, provincial bumpkin. All you do is "Yamyamyam" with the cheatcodes and the worlds fastest chao bit. And you presume to have -anything- to say to me? today of all days, the day after i let a bomb fall on me and was reminded "thankfully" of how pathetic, base, weak minded, weak willed, selfish, and unfeeling things human beings really are. You think it's about you don't you? concieted little chimp. You're not -even- a grain of sand in the cosmic scheme of things. Look out your back door, walk untill you make it arround the earth. then look at the sky, and take note of the points of light. Do you have ANY idea of the vastness of the universe? How many "Earths" it would take to reach the size of the sun? How many suns it would take to reach the size of the solar system? Let alone the galaxy (of more than a thousand solar systems) And the universe (countless galaxies) and the multiverse (countless universes) and the ether (privy to all inception of all universes.)

You aren't even a Gnat. Not even a microbial virus or amoeba. You don't even exist in the macroverse. You are just the biggest thing in the microverse. Get over it, and get over yourself chimp. You're -nothing- but a tiny little insignificant piece of genetic waste in the vastness of all of existance. You don't matter, none of us do. All you can do is try to seek your own salvation with great fear and trembling because our existance is no more than a minute blotch of space, let alone the expanse of time. Your lifespan is just as miniscule as your existance. You may be top of the dung heap here on this tiny little speck of spacial matter, but out there, you're nothing. nothing at all. Yet you presume to have some sense of self importance? The second you realize you're already dead, the better. Simply a flash of light so small ones eye can't even detect it. Intrinsically, you're nothing more than "nothing at all". You're born, you dien, and the universe doesn't change a bit because of your passing. you affect nothing. You gain nothing, and you lose everything. Your life is a waste of time, energy, and most effectively, genetic material that could have been used in stem cell research.

And to set the record straight, there is but one person I would even consider shaking hands with, let alone marrying. and it's not Scott. Your homo-erotic fantasies are shattered, I know. But that's life. don't get too upset, you're going to die in a few decades anyhow. just another water molecule in the ocean.

And upon this, i'm through with you infants. You're not worth the effort it took to make any keystrokes I have in the past two posts.

And what Tails meant to type was hi David! *extends arm at the waiste!*

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:05:07
After all he is a reputed cockgobbler.

Hmm... So should I try and fit most of my message in the title box?

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:13:23
Because it seems that that's what many of you are doing...

Nah

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:20:03
It's a habbit that people adopted from Gigazubyte, who's message at many instances, is nothing but the title. Because it can all fit there. I myself do it to bother people. Also why I have so many self responses. To make a nuisance of myself. Generally it's bad nettiquet to respond to your own posts. Or insult others with every post.

Catholics are going to hell
Tails is a coneseur of furry cock.

Gotcha

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:24:34

I was by no means the first to do it....

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/02/21 06:31:57
but it is my idiom. There are disagreements over whether it's in good taste or not, since it often leaves people with a totally empty post, but I like it because it allows me to quickly find a particular post when browsing the history. I started adding elipses to the end when I continued the statement within the actual post so that I could tell when my entire statement was contained within the title and when I needed to read the whole thing. Of course, you have to open it up if you want to reply regardless, which was the main complaint, but I still think overall it makes the conversation easier to follow, unless you happen to use the asterisks when browsing.

Which I do. But I don't see a problem.

Re: hi David! *extends arm at the way!*

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:16:27
Fine? Well I don't know. It seems to me like they just keep on adding more and more uninteresting characters. They should have just stuck with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Robotnik (not Eggman).

Re: hi David! *extends arm at the way!*

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:24:51
You wanna talk to someone about the flaws in the sonic seriese? Talk to Giga. He's an advocate for the idiocy of team sonic lately. Allbeit they were never rocket scientists to start with.
I personally find them to be as clever as 12 year olds pretending to be god-like characters. They "overlook" a huge deal, and their sales suffer for it (the more intelligent players find themselves offended at the RPG element in general, the Comics are a huge let down, and the spin offs are the only ones that sell (Like Sonic and Mario at the olympics)

Re: hi David! *extends arm at the way!*

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:27:04
I agree. Sonic Team needs to wake up and learn that the majority of their audience are the people who played the originals as kids. In other words, over the age of 18.

Indeed.

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:29:23

That's not an entirely accurate depiction...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/02/21 06:51:16
The games have a big enough fanbase that they still sell quite well, which is a major part of the reason they aren't improving, the comics are only related to the games in name and have no staff in common, and vary between stories that are really quite well told and others that just suck, whereas the games haven't put out a good game on a console since the dreamcast (handhelds are a different story)and honestly a lot of people are looking forward to the upcoming Sonic RPG because it's being done by Bioware. Know for making good games.

And that's why I told David to move the discussion to your back yard. . .

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 06:54:17
As I only know what I hear about the sonic games, seeing as the only two i've played really were 3d blast and sa2b.

Re: And that's why I told David to move the discussion to your back yard. . .

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 06:56:06
Both of which, i found, were sorely lacking in any sort of RPG quality.

Adding the RPG element was their goal from the genesis days i'm sure, but they really had no clue how to do the rpg element. It's as simple as having a story that isn't just drivel.

Plot is not exclusive to RPGs...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/02/21 07:01:12
sure, they're most known for it, but it's too much of a universal element these days to attribute it as the idiom of anyone genre.

I'm just saying

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 07:10:51
The first games to have story elements, and for quite a number of years, the only, were RPGs. Therefore i'd assume the general term for it is an RPG element. But i'm assuming again, so i could be mistaken.

Now hold ona second I like the new characters

Tails ID:018537 2008/02/21 04:29:18
Shadow is cool. dont try and argue with me that. Big the cat is funny and Rouge well you know she has big t 'n a.

You would say that. . . Rectal Ranger...

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:36:05
I understand and I have the utmost respect for your opinion, but don't you think the addition of these characters are not required?

okok maybe people like that red robot aren't needed but still

Tails ID:018537 2008/02/21 04:37:48
adding new characters are never a bad thing.

I can see the addition of new Dokans and villains for story purposes.

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:38:10
But if it's all about the gameplay, there's not a need for new characters no.

I personally could have done without eggman and rouge. But Shadow is allright.

The thing about new characters though

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:42:45
Is that Sonic Team was making an ill concieved attempt at creating a Franchise out of a game, by making a story, and a back story, and a history. Since they failed with the Sonic seriese, they're practically on the verge of scrapping it alltogether. Their problem wasn't with the new characters, but in the effect that they hadn't considered that their story was so lame. Had the seriese started and progressed as a Story, it would be far better. but like i said. God-like 12 year old japanese boys fresh out of college who keep making new shit up instead of putting it all together in a liner fassion, as well as taking in to consideration that they misconcieve concepts such as chaos, and the multiverse.

Re: I can see the addition of new Dokans and villains for story purposes.

David Rawls ID:018851 2008/02/21 04:43:36
I suppose in that case it would be fine. Unfortunately, I must leave for the day. I'll be on tomorrow if I can. Goodbye Professor Nohmnohmz and uh... Tails.

Tails ID:018537 2008/02/21 04:47:20
its just me and you know prof. >:D

I don't know, there were a LOT of games that were just Sonic Tails and Robotnik...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/02/21 06:47:34
mainly gamegear, but still, they rehashed the "Robotnik is out to conquer South Island, Ohnoes!" plot like six different times. I think many of the new characters were interesting additions, and preferable to another rehash of the original plot, but they should have paced themselves better. Not EVERY new story needs a new character or three, and not every character has to make a reappearance. Personally, I'm quite fond of Shadow, but I think he would have been a much better character if he wasn't such a blatant "I'm just like you but EVIIIIIL!" design. Silver, likewise, would have been vastly improved by being ANYTHING but another hedgehog. The psychic powers were a nice new twist, but he ended up feeling like a clone because they made him the same species.
I think what the series needs most right now is a continuity reboot. They just need to start over from the beginning, make a game that's a retelling of the first two, with just Sonic and Tails, and work their way back up to a more fleshed out roster and tell the stories right this time. Like the Marvel Ultimate line. Same characters, new continuity, improved in almost every way.

Some people being rude meaning:

and really not all that suprisingly, significantly less sad than being fixated on a game that came out over nine years ago to the point of pretending to be a character from a minigame on an internet message board when everybody else moved on eons ago. Also less sad than the current state of the Sonic games.

Don't get me wrong, i'm no stoner. i got it out of my system. I don't see any reason for it. All it does is numb your wit and give you a false sense of well being, as well as a nagging and sometimes ravenous hunger for junkfood.

Likewise, i'm not fond of drinking, for it numbs the witts, and lowers the standards. But I have gotten sloshed a few times in my travels. Never have I blacked out, or forgotten the night before, even when i've drank myself sober.

Re: Don't do so for my sake. . .

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:33:50
That's a long story.
You'd have to ask someone like Falco or Giga about that.
But to make a long story short, the Japanese people feel that this place is a lost cause, and gave up. If someone got banned today for anything short of impersonating a moderator and randomly booting people. i'd be shocked.

To make a long story REALLY short "It's Falco's Fault!"

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 04:35:59

Ha, that's funny. Good one...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2008/02/21 06:59:03
No, to the best of my knowledge the mods randomly check up on us when they feel like it, which may be as often as once a week or so, or maybe much less, but it's hard to tell. And even if they do they only enforce spamming or very blatantly pornographic topics. And by enforce I mean silently ban and erase your posts, so nobody can be quite sure when it happened or on what grounds, or even whether certain people stopped coming of their own volition. No, moderation is mostly run by the users. Play by the rules or we'll be snarky at you, wooooo! Be fearful of our rapier wit, we'll cut you to ribbons if you don't behave. I mean, we will, but it doesn't really have much effect on people too dumb to understand when they've been burned, which are usually the only ones who cause trouble in the first place. Still, ripping them to shreds is better than doing nothing, and certainly more entertaining, and if we pretend hard enough we can get that warm fuzzy feeling of accomplishment.

Re: Ha, that's funny. Good one...

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2008/02/21 07:09:10
