In Chao Adventure 1
The game is side scroolling, and your chao does what ever. It talks to you once and awhile, and you can play mini games to get food. Each piece of food levels up a stat so this is a good way to level up your chao.
In Chao Adventure 2
It is a face view. The chao is walking at the screen and it tells you a lot of different things.
Such as. The chao will tell you if he wants to be petted by a special character (such as sonic or shadow... mine wanted to be petted by eggman O_O) but any way.... also your chao will get letters from characters to give to other characters. When you get a letter you can look at it but your chao might not be happy with you... but you do find out things that you wouldn't normally know.
Also your chao gets into a lot of different kinds of troubles. Ghosts in pumpkin hill, being locked in an old house, mushroom growing on his head, freaking out because he evolved and he thought he lost his "chao thing" (the ball)... and just different stuff like that.
It's just a fun thing to have running while your out doing what ever. Once and while I kept it on me while i was in the car, or when we went shopping or some thing. Then I would check it every so olften to see how the chao was doing.
Oh also you get into fights like in Chao karate.
So yeah it is fun ^_^ but nothing your really going to be stairing at for hours. It's more of some thing to check from time to time, or if you want to know how you chao feels.
