Just take care of it with both Hero and Dark, you can give it Chaos drives or whatever, but it must stay in its neutral form.
Here's the Chaos drive colours. The animals also have a coloured background which resembles the Chaos drive.
RED CLASS ANIMALS + DRIVES- Will increase power ability
GREEN CLASS ANIMALS + DRIVES- Will increase Speed
YELLOW CLASS ANIMALS + DRIVES- Will increase Swim
VIOLET CLASS ANIMALS + DRIVES- Will increase Fly ability
BLUE CLASS ANIMAL- Intelligence
GOLD CLASS ANIMAL- Luck
BLACK CLASS ANIMAL- None
The last three are Special, you'll need them for puzzles in advance races.
