For all yew programmers out there

I want to know a freebee way to learn up on the programming languages i'd need (c++ pascal Visual B) to make a videogame. I'm not into the idea of going back to school since i've been gone so long, and i'm also not into the idea of paying 150 dollars for college text books (from the retailer).
I don't care if i won't get hired for programming skill or anything like that (for lack of a degree) I just want to do my thing yo.

Seriously man. . . I've got a concept, combat system, story, character and weapon design, Stat system, Geography, Bestiary, and everything else that i'd been perfecting throughout my adolescence. now my notebooks are just sitting there, cluttering my place up, taking space and not being used.
I am -not- selling the concept to some drowning company and let them save their ass by butchering my vision. I'm doing it on my own, even if it takes me 20 years.

12 years of stewing this thing has gotten

And if i don't do something with it, i'll get stuck making it into a manga or a set of novels or something while scrapping all the (gameplay) ideas i had pur into it (stat system, combat system, combat skills and non combat skills, items, armors, racial stat bonuses and penalties, etc.).
Seems more work went into the gameplay part than the story.

That's my college major there, but I've only had one semester so far.

I don't know any freebies of course though...
In a capitalist system as our own, you'll most likely need money to do anything in this county these days.

I used to know of a website where i could download a C PDF manual.
