I always liked female friends over male friends

not because of the obvious. . .
See a female friend can be huggy and affectionate with you without it being awkward or even misconcieved as being more than friends.

I used to be that guy who wanted a clingy gf. Clingy was IN this year as far as i was concerned. i think some of that carried over to this later, more hatefilled incarnation

Not that i don't want to have male friends. . . Just saying, i like girls. :-p

However, there are some things you can do with a male friend. . .

that would be far less enjoyable with a girl.
Such as golf. Dirty Jokes. Poker. Watching the game (though i'm not a sports nut). Drinking. Fighting. snorting and grunting. A few of those could be equally enjoyable (however in different ways) with a female friend, but the entire package works better with males.
And all the girls I've known try to change you, and are more often than never, right, when you know you are right, while the boys just sit back and join you in the grunting.

In the case of you being wrong when you know you're right, unless it's something important, the best thing you could do is concede to being perpetually wrong. I personally could never concede a point i knew was 100% true, nor would I accomodate anyone (male or female) who were wrong and believed they were right. Without evidence, I would hand them a -DeBunked- sticker and hand them the truth. Unfortunately most people hate that. But quite frankly, I don't give a fuck or two shits about what they hate or don't hate.

I can get away with it though. That's just in my personality package. Besides, I generally wouldn't hang arround someone who was perpetually -wrong-. It makes me look desperate.

The one thing I really hate, no matter who it comes from...

is the "I'm angry but I refuse to tell you what you did wrong" treatment. That's so entirely counterproductive to resolving the issue and moving on.

I haven't seen that all too often. Only in one person

The rest of the time i was being treated like a teddy bear.

I rarely talk to girls.
I'm a very secluded person.

Girls are just like guys really, they just have a few traits that we don't, and vice versa.

In fact. . .

If you just talk to girls like they were anyone else, you'd be surprised to find that they -are- just like anyone else. Just don't go talking to girls with other things on your mind besides talking. . .

People have an inate ability to sense ulterior motives. Treat people as people and they'll respond as people do. Gender only makes a difference if you percieve it to make a difference. In that case, you're the one alienating yourself.

I've already stated some of the differences

And those subtle differences are what make it easier for me to be arround girls. . . They're far more empathetic.

Oh I should've mentioned this, a lot more girls befriend me themselves. I just don't socialize much with them despite how they feel about me just as well with some males.
