I used to like it because it was the english version of Tite Kubo.
They left off with renji having his guts spilled by byakuya. They failed to put the tail end of the season on there and now treat it like reruns.
I've lost my taste for it now due to that, and found a new love, deathnote, which seems to be a one of a kind. I've -never- seen a bootleg manga for Death Note, nor even the Japanese version. And I like the music too, that's a huge part of my determining wether or not i like something.
Inuyasha is entertaining, but I can't stand most of the music. Bleach has quite a good musical score, and as for DBZ. . . Anyone who watched that past the point of Namek where they skipped 9 years instantly, then dragged out 5 minutes for 15 freaking hours. . . as well as having some of the worst musical scores. . .
Ghost in the shell is boring to me, but it has insanely good musical scores. Fullmetal is soso, but has an entertaining backdrop up untill they leave the end of the seriese open. . . I was quite pissed at them till i saw the movie which at least had a better ending.
These are Toon network.
Samurai Deeper Kyo now, is nice, but a little linear. music is good. Tokko was nice while it lasted. Gokusen has some of my favorite drawing styles rolled up into a little comedy (Kimiko and Shin bare a striking resemblance to how I draw). 10 Tokyo Wariors was rather short and moody. it was good at times and it sucked at points too.
Negima is borderline kiddyporn.
Kiddy Grade is not.
Blue Gender still plays on Colours. Another good one, but it gets old after you've seen it through once or twice.
Tenchi Muyo GXP is infuriating (how that geek gets an inter-galactic harem is beyond my comprehension)
Basilisk was like naruto meets Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma
Blood Reign: COTY was short but entertaining.
Noein was okayish, but hard to follow.
Mirage of Blaze is like Anime for trendys and teenaged bi-sexuals.
Slayers is somewhat entertaining but the dark dragon's name is Shabernigdo? come ON. That's like calling a lion fluffy or something.
Eureka 7 was beautiful. the animation was good (but the characters a little thin and tall) The music wasn't phenominal but it's tollerable.
I've seen nearly a dozen others but can't remember.
I am not an otaku. I just make it a point to watch anime that i haven't seen and is easy to access. . . Then either take ideas from it for my Manga. . . or just discredit the whole thing. And i'm on the verge of discrediting Shonen Jump, if it weren't for the fact that Naruto episodes are still playing new ones. But they really killed my Bleach fetish.
