A Challenge. . .

I want to know how long it takes you to breed a pure bloodline type ALL "S" grade Chao
then to get that chao to level 99 in all stats (preferably before it's first reincarnation)
And destroy every league of race and karate with it (except those it won't do, such as hero and dark races)

My entire project has revolved arround Ion, who is my greatest all S chao thus far. And aproxamately 40 hours has gone into the project from the start (initial 2 starter normal type eggs) untill having bred 6 all s chao, and then used them to produce my recipe for Ion, who now is quite mighty looking.

Let me know your results.

Well I heard the gigazubyte has the most powerful chaos now

Fast Leveling

no animals, but chao fruit and/or chaos drives.
Given that you won't be able to get to your chao's full potential, (which was recently made appearant to me as well, but you need the GBA SA2 to make the normal SA2 chao as strong as it can possibly be -See Gigazubyte for more info-). I have leveld a chao, like i said, to nearly all 99 stats in a matter of less than 12 hours using chaos drives and chao fruit.

Well I have to play levels and get animals and sticks to help my chaos.

but I always run out of money for the black market so I have to keep hetting more. it takes too long sometimes so I can come here and talk when I feel like it.

Lemme give you a money tip for SA2.

It might be complicated so i'll give it to you in steps.

Step one: Somehow obtain between 2000 and 8000 rings
(More is good, but you can start with less)

Step Two: find the most expensive thing in the black market that you can afford, and buy it
[Amendment] Nothing like fruit, because it dissappears after a while.

Step Three: Save the Chao Data

Step Four: Go back into chao world. Take your item and sell it, but instead of exiting and saving, his the reset button (NOT THE ON/OFF BUTTON) (When it resets, your file should still be loaded)

Step Five: Repeat step four untill you have enough money to buy another item (preferably apples/stumps/even expensive eggs)Make sure you still have your item from before (instead of selling it)before you buy a new one.

Step Six: repeat steps two and three

Step Seven: Repeat step four

And so on.

[Amendment] You'll recieve 25% of the origional purchase price for any item you sell.

[Amendment]I haven't tested this on anything but the gamecube version of SA2. If it doesn't work on other versions that's not my problem.

[Amendment] Personally I keep 5 shiny green egg shells. One reset gives me 10000 rings. The egg costs 8000, and i think you need like 70something emblems before you can get it. The shell still sells for 25% of the eggs origional cost.

Lowest stat being stamina at 3102 to be precise.

It took me several hundred hours...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2007/12/07 05:56:03
over the course of several years, but then again I also collected all 180 Emblems, raised multiple chao to level 99, and generally did a lot of uneccessary screwing around. I don't know how much of that was pure breeding.

All 180. that's mighty noteworthy.

However games like Sonic don't call to me in my dreams begging for completion. Now a game like Thousand Arms beggs for completion (err well actually it begs to be played period). A game like Suikoden now.. the entire suikoden franchise beggs to be completed. Breath of Fire seriese too. Knights of the old republic is another. Some games beg to be played, others to be completed. Sonic just likes the attention.

Seeing as he's a dieing franchise with the seemingly final sonic game

Which I heard was quite nostalgic if anything.
I mean a competition with the arch rival franchise-maker mario. Who wouldn't think of old days when sonic was a 2-d whippersnapper racing down greenhill.

I do miss fumbling arround in the 2-D worlds. brings me back to my childhood.

In fact. . . I think I like Vintage Sonic better. . .

®Prof. NohmNohmz™ ID:017807 2007/12/07 06:07:00

You mean Sonic 2006? No...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2007/12/07 06:54:38
that game was crap, and several have been released since, and more are in the works. The franchise churns out games faster than Mario, although Mario makes even more spin offs than Sonic. There's an RPG coming, another main title (which hopefully will be what 2006 should have been, a proper return to the adventure series) and I think another Wii Sonic.

I only collected all the emblems in the two adventure titles...

I didn't do it with subsequent Sonic games because they weren't good enough to merit completion. I was really hoping that collecting them all unlocked some sort of ultimate egg in the market, seeing as better and better ones became available as I got more emblems. Alas, the only thing that it unlocked was the Maria theme. Also, I couldn't be beated by my friend's six year old brother who had 170 some.

One S rank in running for my best, then I beat it until it died.
