SA2 for Dreamcast questions

I just got SA2 for dreamcast and I have some questions (I'm used to the SADX Garden):
1. How can I name my Chao (if possible)
2. The Chao Laboratory says I can go shopping in the Kindergarten, but all I see is the Nurse, The Classroom and the Principal. Where do I go for shopping?
3. Can I, and how, view my Chao's Stats?

Sorry I only have sonic advenute 2 battle thats where I found this website.

on the bulliten borad insite the kindergarten they have this place written down. I had to ask my mom first if I could go on here but its ok since she lets me do anythng anyawys.
