Please, don't make the mistake of assuming I'm using someone else's language. I know it's hard to believe, but I make no effort at all to bludgeon others with vocabulary. I use the words I use because those are the best words for saying what I want to say. Nothing more, nothing less.

Being angry makes you say stupid things? No, allowing your rage to speak for you does. Anger can lead to distorted views, perhaps, but a smart person will be smart no matter how angry up until the adrenaline devours their logic- which doesn't happen as quickly as a vast majority of people presume.

You know, the kind that says things like 'Consistency, it's only a virtue if you're not a screw-up'. At any rate, anger DOES lead one to say stupid things, and quite quickly unless carefully controlled, and the strongest control is not getting angry in the first place. I've been in enough fights to know. As for the why, I neglected to include it because I expected that would be self evident even to a buffoon such as yourself, but as you can see, even I make mistakes. Since you ask though, I can answer in four words. It makes you adaptable. However, to prevent further questions, I will elaborate. Being angry at you would be pointless, since there's nothing I can do about it expect rail on people who aren't at fault, thus causing more bad feelings and making my day more difficult than it needs to be. Being positive even in a bad situation almost always makes it easier to FIX that situation. Being depressed is occasionally necessary, but it's difficult to accomplish much while in a funk. The more you can adapt your emotions, the easier it is to keep a clear head, and a clear head makes it easier to do most anything. If you still don't get it, try reading up on stoic philosphy, since I base my personal philosphy on very similar core concepts.
