It would haave to be petted alot and not stepped on. I have a red 2-toned chao that is a shadow chao and looks like shadow already instead of being the 1st evoulution of a shadow chao. P.S. Most of my chao are smiling teeth and tired.

You don't have to pet your chao alot or even at all if you give it chaos drives or animals.

Shadow chao looks already like shaodow

No, i know that, i just need to know what a DARK chao likes and what a Hero chao likes

1. Turn off game before saving.
2. Go back and pet all of your chao like crazy.
3. Never step on or throw your chao.

EDIT: I just realized, it's been two days since this happened. I doubt step 1 will work. >_<
