I've had an annoying downloader virus I couldn't get rid of until I finally found a virus scanner that healed the virus. Last night, my downloads were working normally again after that. Today, the same virus seems to be back all of the sudden because I kept downloading my usual files by around 20 kbs instead of around 200 kbs. This time my virus scanners couldn't even find the virus, so I tried system restore next but that just made things even worst. So now it feels as if I'm stuck on a 56k or lower connection loading sites and downloads and I can't do anything about it. All because of that site I got PSX ISOs from. >_>;

System Restore can cause thigns to go even worse but the reason why you have the same virus again is because there moslty likely is more than one trojan downloader and it's one your program can't reconize. You need to kill the downlaoder and all other viruses downloaded by it. Turn off System restore so you can't turn back to the setttings at the time of the virus.

Yeah, I figured the virus isn't detected as a whole. Although, I can't find any other virus scanners that are reliable these days to do the job. >_>;

Beh... I know how it goes. I got a virus on my computer right now, and it's slowing my computer down a lot. >_>
Though it doesn't slow my internet down. My internet goes slower than dial-up sometimes.
I might have to wipe this computer soon...

Nevermind, it's back....it keeps coming back when I finally get rid of it everytime I start up my computer meaning there's a hidden virus program I can't find that keeps doing this. >_>;

Same thing is happening to me, I keep getting these pop ups from Norton that say there's still viruses in here..
What a piss-off. >_> I'm glad this computer is mine. x-x

Well, the only thing I can do now is disable the virus program everytime I start my computer up until I find a way to delete it completely.

Try spybot search and destroy...

It may not work, but it's helped me a number of times in the past. You should also restart your computer in safe mode and wipe all temporary files. Lots of viruses hide there. Uninstall all virus protection software and reinstall it (also in safe mode) If you don't have adaware from lavasoft, get that also.
