Are you sure it's gone for good, or can you just not find it? You might find them someday, then you can play with your chao forever!

I don't think Chao is that important.
I think the Sonic story is.

Nice.
Now you are ready my son....

Huh?

Eh...

E.S.L. w/ Emeralds ID:016455 2006/02/01 10:52:56
Personally, I don't think either is important. Games are just a source of entertainment to me.

Re: Eh...

Tae Hoon ID:017020 2006/02/01 11:10:53
Yeah...

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 13:11:34
Of course, I can daydream about the story line whenever I'm bored during school. Such as my P.E. teacher... Wait, I already told that one. I'm starting to sound like a redundant 86-year-old army veteran. '>.>

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 13:27:37
Don't worry, I'm somewhat worse.

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 13:31:12
That was a bit comforting... Anyway, yeah... Ungh... Can't... think... of... what... to... say...

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 13:31:24
I know, say "arghsofgsodfkwoeg" out loud 50 times, and then when you're done, say it backwards 9 times.

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 13:32:44
I would, but my parents are trying to watch TV...

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 13:46:48
Oh, heh. I guess you wouldn't want to interrupt them with your backwards talking...

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 13:56:21
Yeah, that wouldn't be nice...

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 13:57:28
Now, singing to them when they're watching T.V., that'd be nice.

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:01:37
Not really... They sing Barney songs to me all the time just to make me go crazy.

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:05:05
Well that's insane?

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:07:44
*shudders*
I don't want to think about it. My mom especially does it, but now my dad helps her, and a couple weeks ago, I had to put of with a duet of the "Special" song... How do they remember this stuff?! Does my mom watch Barney while I'm at school?! o-(*)

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:14:47
Well, at least they don't sing it to you at night time (or do they?), now that'd be very creepy. It would be like if all of the sudden, in the middle of the night, this song would play: http://h1.ripway.com/Dark_Celestial_Dragon/YoshisIsland_-_Athletic.wma

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:20:09
They don't. She does some times when she wakes me up in the morning, but...
*Waiting for the song to load...*
That would be creepy. >.<
Are you saying that it happened to you before? Did your SNES/GBA pop on in the middle of the night?

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:25:20
Oh god, if it did, I'd go insane. No it doesn't, but I was showing my little sister some of the songs from Yoshi's Island, and she pointed it out that, "It would be scary if you would hear that song in the middle of the night" (or something close to that. I can't remember word-by-word what she said)

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:34:27
I'm afraid to play games alone when it is dark for unknown reasons. Maybe it all started with the Shadow Temple in OoT...

Re: Eh...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:38:05
Same here, except I have no idea where that started. I think it was with the intro of Pokemon Stadium 2...

Re: Eh...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:40:10
*sigh*
I don't know. It's just so creepy. Maybe it's the emptyness... I got so freaked out when I resetted iwhile I was in another town in Animal Crossing, then I cam back and my face was just a black hole. Creepy.

It got to you too?...

That temple creeped me out the first time through, but I've beaten that game so many times I could do it blindfolded, so it doesn't bother me anymore.

Re: It got to you too?...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 15:00:36
It is creepy, but when we played that game, I wasn't any good at the game, so it was my dad playing it, and he can handle almost anything. Though he never beat the game, for the sole fact that he couldn't figure out the Shadow Temple before he got too tired of it to ever play it again. Fortunately, I made a friend that was better at the game a year or so later, and he beat the rest of the game. It was sort of wierd, taking three people. I gave them tips the whole time, so I was using Wisdom, while my dad was playing it instead of me, because he was the only one with enough Power, and I was just too scared to play later on, so my friend was the only one with enough Courage to play it. A little funny...

I beat it with my brother...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 15:03:17
and a few tips from a kid at school. And then I beat it again. And again. And again. And then I absolutely murdered Master Quest. Harder my foot.

Re: I beat it with my brother...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 15:05:27
I think the game was intended for the player to need Power, Wisdom, and Courage to be able to defeat it. In some cases, it takes multiple people if you don't have all three.

I couldn't beat the bosses by myself the first time through...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 15:07:59
but now I can kill many of them in a matter of seconds.

Re: I couldn't beat the bosses by myself the first time through...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 15:16:38
And that would be what you gained from the experience. Sort of like Link gets Power and Wisdom over the course of the game, and now has enough of each to use the Triforce without it splitting, though he never did. Yet, with getting all three of these, he became a complete hero.

Re: It got to you too?...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 15:04:49
I remember that I rented the game once, so I only had 5 days to play it. But I did get to the temple. The last part I remember playing was against the plant...

Re: It got to you too?...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 15:07:05
What? You only got to the part where you fight the Deku Scrub with the nut spitting mouth?

Re: It got to you too?...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 15:11:32
Yeah. Technically I only had 3 days to play it, because at first I had rented some other game that was really boring, and so two days later we traded it in for another one. Too bad I didn't have internet back then, or at least a little tiny bit of help.

Re: It got to you too?...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 15:18:37
Yeah. But it is the ultimate experience if you do it the old-fashioned way. Getting help doesn't help you gain Wisdom, as you would if you played the game normally.

Why is your IM always in stealth mode?

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 14:37:23

Actually...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:41:12
I'm really not on AIM at all. I was on Yahoo Messenger earlier, though...

I don't have that. I can't ever tell if you're on or not...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 14:43:22
because you're always in stealth mode.

Re: I don't have that. I can't ever tell if you're on or not...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:48:06
I have MSN Messenger. :/

Everybody has a different one it seems...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 14:50:09
although some people have multiple ones.

Re: Everybody has a different one it seems...

Jon166 ID:017050 2006/02/04 14:53:53
Very strange. Oh well. I'm just the odd-ball. Sort of like the two Steelers fans in my class of Seehocks fans. And I like to mispell the name, so no need to correct me.

Re: Everybody has a different one it seems...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:53:59
You seem to have added me to your Yahoo Messenger list?

My email kept bugging me to.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2006/02/04 14:55:23

Mine doesn't do that...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:58:48
or at least not my yahoo one, but it might have something to do with my having SBC Yahoo internet service.

But there's a reason for that...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2006/02/04 14:50:24
I'm usually in invisible mode because either I already know that I'm going to constantly get up and go do something else, or if I'm really tired and not able to do any direct chatting. On here I can take as long as I want for just one reply...
