This is much harder than the normal one, but it is easy to figure out. When you start fighting Final Hazard, make Super Sonic fly out towards Earth a bit, then fly towards the other side of the Biolizard. Once you do, it will switch to Shadow. When this happens, hit him as fast as you can, because you only have the amount of rings you had when you switched. This is also harder because Super Sonic is weaker, and you have to make the last hit with him to make it work. At the last part, Hyper Shadow will say (paraphrase): "Maria... Watch Me!" Then, when they grab hands in the end and nod, instead of Hyper Shadow saying: "I must destroy all the evil the Professor created," Super Sonic will say: "He didn't stand a chance." The rest is normal, of course. It's not like Super Sonic dies, and Shadow returns to the ARK.
