To get a dark chao do you need a dark chao egg or can you just feed any chao dark fruit?

To obtain a Dark Chao, feed a child chao lots of Dark Fruit, or take care of it with a Dark Side Character.

Why do you call yourself that?Are you on the Hero side?If you are it makes sence other wise it doesn't.
