I copied my shiny brown chao Hiya with the copy of it and it made a forest green chao with golden tips on its feet!

how do you copy chao?

I'll tell you, first get 2 sonic gba games and trade a chao into 1 (note that each game has to have a tiny chao garden, i recomend the sonic advance 1 game for GBA) next send the other to the other gba game and another will take its place (again), now if you have an extra memorie card, transfer them there. Note: this is not an eay way to get hero/dark gardens, belive me, I tried.

Put it on an empty GBA...

if there is no save file the game will copy it in case the power goes out. Then you pick it up on another memory card.

I copied a normal brown chao and it made a purple chao with silver on its feet.
