what happened to my chao?

my very first chao looked like he was evolving a second time but he just dissapered!!!!! he ws in a yellow cacoon if that means anything

That means it died. Basically, after the first evolution, the game keeps track of how you treat your chao. If you treat it badly, it goes away in its second evolution, never to be seen again. If you treat it with love and care, it is reincarnated.

In other words, you must have been a bad, bad man. SHAME ON YOU!

All chaos die. The thing is, chaos which have been treated nicely come back in the form of eggs, bearing traits similiar to their previous life. Chaos which have been, in your case, mistreated, abused, un-attended to, or even starved for long periods of time, will die off the face of the earth forever.

I assume that maybe you tossed around your chao, maybe starved him or woke him up whenever he was sleeping, let him drown in the water as a child? I wouldn't know. The point is, it died, and it ain't coming back.

Was it yellow AND GREY? it died if it was grey and yellow.
