About how long does it take 4 mating season and how will i know who to mate who with? oh and after i mate and the egg hatches does any thing abnormal happen and 1 more thing does mating make them die faster live longer or does it not really do any thing like that thanks

ok, Mating season is kinda tricky. You need two chao that like each other very much...If they don't like each other, give one a Heart egg-fertily fruit. As for how long until the mating season, I dunno. Anyway, if the Heart fruit dosen't seem to get the 2 together, then either Give up, or keep trying to get the 2 together. Also, nothing Abnormal Happens when the egg is laid. If your chao mate more often, they will die AFTER age 5. Age 5 is the possible age where they die or rebirth.

The one thing I never did figure out was the impact of mating on the lifespan. I've seen a lot of conflicting information, but it seems to me that using a heart fruit during the mating will slightly shorten the lifespan, while natural mating either does nothing or extends it by the same amount. Either way, it doesn't make a very noticable difference in the long run.

ok now ill give you the real facts:
-there is 2 types of mating seasons forced(heart fruit) and natural
-forced mating can happen at any age including child(number of fruit needed is larger approx 5-10 for a child to mate) after giving one chao a fruit you have 2 choice's let it get a true mate(a chao that will see the mate ready chao and go to it and mate)the second choice is to feed another fruit to a nother chao u want to mate then cary it to the other and put it down then you get your egg.

ok fruit make them mate but it dosent count as their 3rd evolution starter only a natural mating season does this
ill explaign below. Also Heart Fruit has the side effect of removing 5min from the chao that eats a whole one.

-natural mating season for chao is not a set event it can happen as soon as it evolves or never and this effects its life span a chao that never mates can live 12-20 hrs depending on how it is treated in its life, with a chao that does naturaly mate for every time it has an egg from a natural season takes 2hrs off its life. the max natural seasons recorded is 4(my data only so dont quote me.)

-if u want your chao to have multiple seasons make it frends with another chao.
-spoiling chao seems to increase the frenqucy of seasons also.

the maximum life time of a chao is 7 years and a few hours(after 7 years it varies it could die right after turning 7 or it could die close to its 8th year.

i dont get the whole year system thing. what is it about, and what does it do to the chao?
