What do I do after the chao I raised to look like Shadow evolves to get him to turn red? Just keep giving him green drives?

Yep, it'll start out growing in its second evolution slowly gaining more spikes, body mass starts growing, becomes more darker, its stripes will start turning red, and then after quite some time, you'll have your advance shadow chao....

more darker?

Doesn't have to be necessarily just Shadow to raise one, just make sure it's a dark chao that majors in running.

Give him red drives. If you turned a yellow chao into one, give it yellow drives to make it Super Sonic.

No, if it was yellow you still use green drives.
