The other day, while I was breeding for a shiny normal colored chao, I used a normal colored chao and a shiny blue chao, both of which didn't come from breeding. Before I finally got the results I wanted, practically the only other chao that came out of the eggs were shiny yellow and lime green chao. Why did those colors come from normal and shiny blue chao?

I had that problem, too. It really depends on the parents colors, not what type they were/are. If the shiney blue and nutral were any different color when you breed them, thats probly the reason the newborn changed.

Once I had a Dark red chao and a Hero red chao that had a sky blue chao.
