This requires two memory cards with open space to copy SA2B (not chao file) on one. Copy the file of the game onto the second memory card from the main one. Spend the rings on your chao. Erase the file and copy it back from your first copy. You will have the rings back, but your chao will still have what you bought for them (unless they ate it).

If you want to get rings you need the requirements of the first trick. Buy the most expensive items (no eggs) with your rings after using the first trick. Erase and copy as shown above to get your rings back. Sell the items you bought to get a 25% refund added to your total. Erase the file that you didn't just add rings to and make a copy from your file with more rings. Repeat until you have all that you want. Use the first trick to keep the rings after spending them.

DO NOT buy eggs for expensive items to later sell on the second trick. (I said this in case my revised version didn't come through.)

if you hit reset after selling an item you keep it AND the rings you got, no erasing or copying of data required. Just be sure to save when you're done or you lose it all.

I used Gigazubyte's trick to get 18,000 rings. I was going to do the 20,000 trick, but my chao got needy. XD And also besides that, I forgot how to the 20,000 trick to double it and get 40,000.

I, too used this trick. But I got around 40,000 rings with it.

Yeah. I like using my GS for rings now, already did everything with the chao...

lol me and my friend do this trick all the time...we costently copied the data he would buy something some time and i just keep my rings then we copied the data to his memory card (thx to him have the same embelems,levels,ranks etc.)every time one of us beat somthing we did the trick...its a good 1
