And you'll find that spamming without being derided for it is all in the timing. Hi topics are discouraged because no one ever seems to be on at the same time, so they take up a lot of room without accomplishing anything. If you can make sure someone else will be there to respond no one is likely to care much. It's the ones who repeatedly ask if anyone is there who get chewed out.

I have no clue what that meant AT ALL, but timing IS right, and you are right about that, but still whenever he gets here, he never seems to let anybody know when hes here so I just post and wait for him to come out of hiding.

What it meant is, you complained about the lack of 'hi' topics...

And I said they were a no no because no one responded in a timely fashion anymore. But if you see that people posted in the last two or three minutes and you make a quick topic like so no one will complain if you're fast enough to stop them from leaving.
