1. That's no story, it has to be longer.
2. That hardly made sense.
3. What did that have to do with Maria?

Re: I'm gonna make three points here...

F.F. ID:016643 2005/04/20 05:21:55
i was bored and i didn't want to spam so i made it "somewhat" about chao

Re: I'm gonna make three points here...

That still constitutes as spam.
Please take your boredom elsewhere.
That is all...
I will now take your 50 bells.

Are you playing animal crossing?

Re: Are you playing animal crossing?

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 06:32:36
How did you know. --;

Bells. Unless that was sarcasm...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 06:40:11
And I honestly can't tell from the --' thing, you should have expected me to guess that.

Re: Bells. Unless that was sarcasm...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 06:45:12
Hmmm, I thought the absence of the question mark would point you in the right direction.
Apparently not. -.-;

No, I kinda missed that...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 06:53:23
I had a long day and my powers of perception are not fully functioning.

Re: No, I kinda missed that...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:00:05
Oh, poor you. *pat pat*

It's really all due to a sore throat...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:04:24
I kept getting accused of chewing gum when I was sucking on those cough drop things to make it better.

Re: It's really all due to a sore throat...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:07:12
x3 I hate it when that happens. I emphasize with you. *hug*

Don't. you'll probably catch it too.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:09:04

Re: Don't. you'll probably catch it too.

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:15:03
'Tis ok. =3

It's your funeral.

Re: It's your funeral.

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:26:25
*mysteriously dies on the spot*

I told you so...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:28:44
and no ressurecting as a shadow dragon either. We do that shtick too much else where. No reason to bring our horrible god moding to the bbs. Got that?

Re: I told you so...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:34:10
*grumble...* Fine... *returns to body*

We'll finish that some other day, some other place. I promise.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:35:51

Re: We'll finish that some other day, some other place. I promise.

Goodie. *hug before a big fight*

remember what happened last time you hugged me?

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:53:12

Re: remember what happened last time you hugged me?

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 08:02:58
0.o; There was a last time? *besides today*

I meant today. We had to create a plot hole...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:06:09
to get you ressurected, or we had to pay big money for a healer. I can't decide which is worse, but I'm going with the plot hole for now. Hey, do you think you could entertain yourself for about ten or fifteen minutes? I have a few chores I need to do, but they won't take that long.

Re: I meant today. We had to create a plot hole...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 08:07:10
Sure. *goes soul-hunting*

Well, that was easier than I expected...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:25:09
you know, It's beginning to feel like the old days again. We should see if we can't get everyone on at roughly the same time another day.

Re: Well, that was easier than I expected...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 08:28:02
I guess it depends. Especially with the different timezones.

We'll go by board time. Sixish is good for me.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:29:29

Re: We'll go by board time. Sixish is good for me.

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 08:30:27
That's 5:00 in my time.

Mine too...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:32:37
I get home late and have to walk dogs, so 4:00 would be too early for me to make most days.

I see. I guess that's life.

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 08:34:18

Re: We'll go by board time. Sixish is good for me.

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 08:33:06
But tomorrow I'll probably be late by an hour or two.

It doesn't have to be tommorow, and I don't intend...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:35:51
to do this every day. (I do have homework and afterschool activities fairly often), but once every week or two would be nice.

Re: It doesn't have to be tommorow, and I don't intend...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 08:37:22
I figured you wouldn't do this every day. SOme days I have no time for fun like this. For now I'm going to multitask and play Kirby and the Amazing Mirror.

exactly. You know, I just realized something...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:38:39
lang is going to have a fit when he realizes what a great opportunity to make us miserable he missed.

Re: exactly. You know, I just realized something...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 08:40:27
Yeah, but even if he were here, I know I would just ignore him.

Re: exactly. You know, I just realized something...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 08:45:51
Not that he can make us miserable...

well, no, but he could ruin our conversation just as it was getting good.

Re: well, no, but he could ruin our conversation just as it was getting good.

Yes. That's what I mean.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 08:56:11
I guess I should tell you mine too, then. Not that it's hard to guess. I use exactly the same name there as I do here.

Re: That makes things simpler...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 09:00:17
It shouldn't be hard to guess mine either. It's not just Empress... it has numbers after it. Guess what they are.

My little sister kicked me off there for an hour. Actually, I really should be doing my homework right now, because I have TAKS; but I don't feel like it.

Re: Don't. you'll probably catch it too.

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 07:29:13
I actually have that in real life right now (or actually an itchy throat that's sore from itching); as well as these rashes on my arm. But I think these two are both part of my allergies, because they were cutting grass at my school yesterday, and the weather keeps changing abruptly.

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 06:46:22
If you were going to say 'gay', I'll hunt you down and shoot you n00b.

What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 06:56:45
but the lack of a focused goal and the necessity of playing short sessions at frequent intervals just doesn't suit my race to the finish as fast as possible style of play. That, and I can't play weekdays.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:01:17
Nuuu, it was a fun game. I didn't get every single item, just most of them. But since I'm constantly getting way past 100,000 points on my house, I feel there's nothing left for me.

Heh. I doubt you need it, but want to know a great money getting trick?

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:02:29

Re: Heh. I doubt you need it, but want to know a great money getting trick?

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:04:05
I may know it, but sure, tell. =3

Take a full complement of fruit to the island and drop it off...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:07:56
We're talking fill every square inch. Then turn on the gba as you leave and have your islander pick it all up. They drop bags and bags of cash, and the more they drop the bigger the bags are, up to the maximum amount of bells in a bag. This only works a few times, but you can pay off almost an entire house with the money you get. It's insane.

Re: Take a full complement of fruit to the island and drop it off...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:09:08
0.o; Never thought of that. Good one. =D

I thought, if a few coconuts = bags of cash...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:12:02
then lots of fruit = mondo bags of cash. and it worked. Just don't give them fruit they don't like or it won't work nearly as well. The other thing I did to get rich quick was plant so many rare fruit trees that it can be hard to get through them all. I live in a forest, but you wouldn't believe how much the fruit is worth in total.

Re: I thought, if a few coconuts = bags of cash...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:15:46
I chopped down all the trees on one of my memory cards. x3

Umm... okay.

Re: Umm... okay.

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:27:01

I'm sure it was, I just couldn't think of anything else to say.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:29:39

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 07:02:43
I hate when there's nothing[much]left to do on a game.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 07:36:12
For some reason, whenever there's nothing left to do in a game (or a certain goal is just too impossible for me), I still like to replay levels (SA2B) or just do something that has nothing to do with anything. Like in Super Mario Sunshine, whenever I'm bored, I just go to Sirena Beach, and listen to the music (I just love that BGM. Too bad I can't find it.) and water-hover over those candles along the side of the hotel until they eventually burn-out.

Well, that's one thing that sets a good game apart...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 07:39:17
even when there's nothing left to do you should still be able to have fun goofing off.

Re: Well, that's one thing that sets a good game apart...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 07:41:32
Exactly. I hope I can make a game like that one day.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 07:39:54
I sometimes mix up some cool music from my PS2 games with my gamecube's picture. I also beat up the final boss on Paper Mario 2. That's one of the best turn-based RPG battles I've been through. I've become an expert on thet game, I can beat her using only one item.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Empress ID:015115 2005/04/20 07:48:13
I love that too. >3

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 10:02:07
You can never get bored with SSBM; even if you're only playing by yourself.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 10:02:49
So true.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:04:19
Heh, there's ALWAYS something challenging in that game, for example, getting the million vs. matches event.

What's that? I'm only missing three trophies...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:06:38
and none of them have that as a requirement.

Re: What's that? I'm only missing three trophies...

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:09:43
It's messages you get about completing ## number of vs. matches like around 100,000 and 1,000,000 vs. matches. There's also my goal of breaking absolute limits on the game.

Re: What about 'off beat?' AC is okay...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 10:24:01
I don't think I'll EVER get that event, I usually play endless matches or watch the computers brawl.

I have to disagree. It takes several hundred hours, but it IS possible.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:04:41

Re: I have to disagree. It takes several hundred hours, but it IS possible.

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:06:17
Nah, it's called expanding goals.

SSBM is limitless believe it or not.
Besides, I see something always new and funny when I play vs. mode each time.

My goals expanded to the point where they're either completed...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:08:54
or impossible. I've gotten as good as I can from training with the people I know, and nothing surprises me anymore. I need new opponents.

Re: My goals expanded to the point where they're either completed...

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:11:12
Heh, have you ever gone beyond the limit barrier of the homerun contest when hitting the sandbag....?

What's the barrier? I don't think I have.

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:12:14

Re: What's the barrier? I don't think I have.

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:14:11
Oops I meant to say, have you ever hit the sandbag so far that it goes beyond its barrier limits and ends up off the screen?(when the camera stops at the last sign and the sandbag continues flying)

I don't remember, what's the last sign?

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:15:08

Re: I don't remember, what's the last sign?

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:20:00
Just forget about the sign part....

I might have, but it depends on the distance...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:22:09
it's just been so long since I tried that I can't remember.

Re: My goals expanded to the point where they're either completed...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 10:14:43
Well, I'm sure you've unlocked all of the characters and everything, so I won't even bother asking if you have, but, everytime I battle in vs. mode with 3-4 players (which is not very often, actually), something funny always happens. The same with Mario Kart: Double Dash.

All characters, stages, and nearly all trophies...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:17:26
I can't get diskun or the sheriff, and I don't feel like playing 100 coin matches.

Re: All characters, stages, and nearly all trophies...

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 10:35:56
I have all trophies, except for those only unlocked by the later Event mode matches. But what I really want to do is unlock Celebi; of course, I'd have to unlock everything else though.

Re: My goals expanded to the point where they're either completed...

Sephiroth ID:013661 2005/04/20 10:19:05
All my friends stink at the game, until one day, one of my friends that normally stinks at the game brought his classmate/friend that said he could easily beat me in SSBM. Heh, he was real good at the game and was actually a real challenge I ever had, but I kept beating him mostly by at least two or one live left. I once again, proved to be the master of SSBM in my area.

That has happened to me so many times...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:20:49
And only two people I've ever played can beat me on a regular basis, and they're brothers, not to mention school champions capable of beating any other two people there at the same time.

Re: My goals expanded to the point where they're either completed...

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 10:21:21
Nobody I know usually beats me in SSBM(in real life) I've even had two of my friends team up against me, but I prevailed.(one of them was almost as good as me, too)

You know what's awesome? Playing against two or three newbs...

who are on the same team, with friendly fire on. They keep killing each other by mistake.

That's why I like Friendly Fire.

My friend even teamed up with two level 9 computers without friendly fire to fight me, I still prevailed but he did almost got me.

Wow, not bad. I'm gonna go to bed soon, see you later.

Isn't kind of early? Or do you wake up early?

I'm supposed to go to sleep at 9:00 (Central) because I wake up at 5:00 (for the bus) to get 8 hours of sleep, but it's too hard for me to go to sleep that early, so I usually only get about 5-6 hours.

I'm supposed to be in bed by ten...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/21 06:01:07
because I am NOT a morning person. I can't ever get to sleep until almost midnight, but I still have to go to bed.

Same here.

I can't ever get to sleep before midnight either. But the thing is that I'm both a night and a morning person. So, I could go to sleep at 1:00 a.m. and wake up at 5:00 a.m., although that isn't very healthy. What time do you have to wake up?

7:00, but I find that the extra sleep doesn't really help with getting up...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/22 06:35:39
What I think happens is that there is a certain level of sleep deprivity where your brain switches to a power conservation mode of sorts, reducing unnecessary activity in some parts to keep you awake and upright. Before that line it tries to function at full capacity with insufficent rest. I seem to be consitently getting enough sleep to put me over said threshold, but not enough to be fully rested, which is a pain. I would venture to say this is due to the medication I take, which is designed to let me concentrate on my homework instead of getting distracted every few minutes. It sort of automatically kicks me into the 'focused' mode, and since my brain is supressing those extraneous thoughts it doesn't realize just how tired I am. Since the effect has worn off in the morning I wake up exhausted and grumpy, and would probably fall asleep in school if not for the fact I'm taking it to begin with. I make up some lost time on the weekends, but not all of it.

Well, I studied about the stages of sleep that you go through (including REM) in my psychology class, and there isn't an actual reason for why you need sleep, so it's not known about what is actually going on (except the stages of sleep), but I get what you're saying about what the medication is doing. Umm, but do you have ADD or something similar to that?

No exactly, what I have manifests somewhat differently...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/22 10:23:07
Whereas actual ADD kids tend to be rather obvious with their inability to focus, I simply have trouble focusing on homework and that sort of thing instead of getting caught up in my own imgination. For a long time people thought I was just lazy, because I'm so good at daydreaming and keeping up with a lesson subconsciously at the same time that no one could tell I wasn't actually paying attention.

Alright, because it seemed quite weird if you were to have ADD even though I don't know you in real life.

The only person that can beat me in real life is someone whom I have never played with.

(No one that I know can beat me, but all I've battled with is my sisters and cousins.)

Re: I have to disagree. It takes several hundred hours, but it IS possible.

Dark Celestial Dragon ID:011103 2005/04/20 10:11:26
Well, I guess it depends on the person. I could probably be able to spend 3 hours just looking at the trophies.

BY THE WAY, have you all heard of the Daisy trophy's third eye? It's hidden behind her hair.

oookkkay then...

Gigazubyte ID:015441 2005/04/20 10:13:59
fooled you! there's nothing of import in this post! ha ha, sucker!

Damn... A whole conversation went by when I wasn't looking

Gabriel ID:016455 2005/04/20 10:15:20

that can happen.

Well ANYWAYS, you should see Daisy's third eye, it's very weird.
